When we noticed the dearth of ICT skills in our catchment
area, we liaised with our partners to organize forums for zealous young people to
build relevant ICT skills in specific areas. Partnering with IICD, BoldTech
played support roles in forming, grooming, and sustaining what is later became known as TechSupport—a platform on which
dozens of young people gained employable skills and went on to produce and create
their own jobs.
KYTE Centre
Mar 2009 – Dec 2015
Through our CSR, BoldSteps, we have supported scores of youth to find productive ways of entertaining themselves. With the annual U15 football gala, the amateur (but income-generating) movie-making house, the community library, and the free computer training provided for the youth of Kajelo, we are constantly reminded that society is what makes us who we are.
